Scope
This policy applies to all visitors of NeuroTheos and complies with GDPR (EU 2016/679), Romanian Law 506/2004 + 190/2018, the German TTDSG (Telekommunikation-Telemedien-Datenschutz-Gesetz) and the ePrivacy Directive. Non-essential cookies are only set after your explicit, freely given consent — and you can withdraw that consent at any time via the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use a minimal set, grouped into four categories.
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
neurotheos_lang (language preference EN/RO), neurotheos_cookie_consent_v2 (your cookie choice + timestamp), neurotheos_token (admin session, only on admin pages). These cannot be disabled because the site cannot function without them. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in basic site operation; § 25(2) TTDSG — strictly necessary.
2. Preferences (optional)
Used to remember non-essential choices (e.g. a future 'remember me' on the booking form). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent; § 25(1) TTDSG — explicit consent. Currently no cookies in this category are placed.
3. Analytics (optional)
Anonymous usage statistics. Currently no analytics provider is active. If we add one (e.g. Plausible, Matomo, GA4) it will only run after you opt in.
4. Marketing (optional)
Cookies for personalized content or advertising. Currently no marketing cookies are placed and we have no current plans to add any.
Withdrawing or changing consent
Click 'Cookie settings' at the very bottom of any page to re-open the consent panel. You can toggle any category off, or click 'Reject all'. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share cookie data with third parties. If we add analytics in the future, the provider, retention and country of processing will be listed here before any cookie is set.
